Quality Assurance

At Takemoto, in order to supply products that always satisfy customers and maintain the highest quality standards, we have prepared a “Product Quality Standard”. Using this product quality standard, in addition to a “Product Standard” and a “Standard Sample” for each product, Takemoto maintains total control over quality from the supply of raw materials from the distributor to final product inspections.

We offer our clients the peace of mind of being certain that only products of the highest quality will be supplied.

Material certification

Takemoto only uses raw materials that comply with independently set standards established by organizations such as the Japan Hygienic Olefin And Styrene Plastics Association.

In Japan, the same association sets Food Hygiene law standards relating to plastic utensils and containers, so certification means that our products also comply with Food Hygiene Law.

In addition, Takemoto has also dealt with certification under the European Union’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) Regulation.

Color Compounding

In Japan, Takemoto conducts color compounding in-house to clients’ specifications. Strict quality control from the supply of raw materials to the production of color compounds ensures the supply of products of consistent quality and specifications.

Product Quality Standard

Quality control of every product made by Takemoto is based on our product quality standard. These set standards are enforced through quality inspection at every stage of the production process, from molding to printing (and other decoration techniques) and all other secondary processing. Furthermore, the receiving and final inspections we conduct comply with ANSI/ ASQCZ1.4 acceptance sampling standards.

In addition, we are also able to produce products according to customized quality standards set to clients’ specifications.
